Recently,the Jaguar Land Rover Public Ltd.C(Shanghai) just registered with AQSIQ about their plan of recolling,from 23 June 2016,they will recall Landrover cars as follows:
Parts of the imported Landrover Discovery cars manufactured between 3rd April 2012 to 30 October 2012,accroding to the statistic to the company,there are 6067 cars involved in the mainland of China.
Parts of the imported Range Rover Sport cars manufactured between 2nd April 2012 and 30 October 2012, accroding to the statistic to the company,there are 5214 cars involved in the mainland of China.
The new Range Rover Sport cars manufactured on 9 May 2012, accroding to the statistic to the company,there is one car involved in the mainland of China.
Parts of the recalled cars at this time are possible to lead to the break off of signal when the sensor transfers it to the crankshaft posoition of engine system,because the welding spot of crankshaft position sensor offered by the auto-parts manufacturers cracks.This problem will make the car unable to start or the engine stalles without any obvious sign.If the engine stalls,the car will lose the control of the brake booster system and the power-steering system,this will lead to the delay of braking and turning,there exists the security threat.
The Jaguar Land Rover Public Ltd.C(Shanghai) will replace the correct crankshaft position sensor of those recalled cars in order to eliminate defects.
